Baby Elephant Original Drawing
Titled – ‘Keep up’
Here is my original drawing of an adorable Indian Elephant Infant, following it’s Mother’s tail. I drew this from a photo I took of the baby elephant at Chester Zoo in the UK in 2015.
Image size is 33 x 22cm | Frame size is 47 x 36cm
The drawing took over 50 hours to complete. Capturing the intricacy and texture of the elephants skin became quite a challenge, not only to create how it ‘feels’ but also to describe the muscle and form beneath the skin. During the process of drawing any animal, comes a deep appreciation for it’s beauty and being.
The artwork is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The mount is conservation level mountboard, it is framed and ready to hang in a reclaimed wooden frame with a lovely grey stain, that compliments the elephants skin and texture.
